Permission to lighten up

Good morning beautiful people! Before I end this last day of the year I will give myself Permission to Lighten Up!

I used to be too intense. I was intense about how my children behaved and looked. I was intense about how my house looked, how I looked and what people thought of us. I was intense about trying to change my mate into what I thought he should be and do. I really can't think of anything I wasn't intense about! It could be too much to bear with at times. I'm talking about me not none of you, so keep reading. Lol What I really needed to do was give myself permission to lighten up!

I didn't know how to trust God with daily life. I was out of balance in almost everything. This year alone was a roller coaster of out of balance. I did not yet realize that celebration and enjoyment are necessary in our lives, we cannot be healthy spiritually, mentally, emotionally or physically without it! In fact, celebration is so necessary that God made sure He put it in the Bible. He literally commands us to celebrate.

Read Psalms 138:5

Yes, they will sing about the lord ’s ways, for the glory of the lord is very great.

The best gift you can give your family and the world is a healthy you, and you cannot be healthy without celebration being a regular part of your life. Today, change the entire atmosphere in your life with celebration. Give yourself permission to lighten up!

My prayer for us this day: Dear God, don't let me be too intense. Help me remember to give myself permission to lighten up and celebrate Your goodness every day.

You all have a wonderful and safe New Year! See you in 2015 as I prepare myself to walk the red carpet! I love your support let's keep growing and celebrating each achievement together. ~Atara Estes of Sound the Alarm Outreach/STAO Radio

Bag lady

I started getting rid of my baggage that has weighed me down or better yet they were distractions to my daily walk. I always thought I had things under control while I was fooling myself it was indirectly controlling me.

The holidays well its not the same.... Too many bad memories left in my head. So as I look forward to the new year I pray that I not only leave those old things behind but that they stay where they belong. Because if they were meant to be for me then we would soaring over the distractions and embracing the main attractions. Life!!

I don't think I'm meant to be alone but for some reason life seem to be that way until the right one (age appropriate man) is able to stand up with me and not hide behind me with other intentions. Ha I don't need no sugar daddy, nor a tender roni. I am a young lady that just need a balance for once in her life.  I'm not looking for no fairytale, no trick, no treat and no pretend to love me. Let it be real someone who has been through the struggle and had overcome with victory because God is the one.

No more temporary attempts this is fulltime commitment with nothing else to spare. Don't get it twisted this is not for anyone to apply because remember fakebook I mean Facebook or any social site is a real place for people to hide behind.  Don't inbox me communicate the old fashion way. Talk! Use your words and meet people of interest face to face. I'm done unloading my baggage now and I feel 10 pounds lighter. I'm about to become the next heavy weight champion of the world. Watch out! It's a whole new world out there. I'm about to embrace it! Be encouraged because it's your season.

Have a great day Kings and Queens! Selah

Take responsibility for your happiness

One of the most important lessons I have learned is that I cannot count on someone else to make me happy. God has given us the ability to take responsibility for our own happiness.

A lot of people aren't happy unless a certain person behaves a certain way, or unless a certain situation works out just the way they want it to. Every day we let our happiness depend on other people and situations, when in reality, God wants us to find our happiness in Him.

There was a time when I would feel sorry for myself if my mate went to play pool the day after one of our family events. I wanted him to go shopping or just snuggle with me. But God showed me that we have different ways of relaxing and unwinding. At least in some situations but for other's I was insecure and needed to know where he was at all times. Didn't need to trust the fact he needed space from me and nagging didn't help bring him home any quicker to me.

That's just one example, but there are so many ways that we put unrealistic expectations on people and rely on them to keep us happy. God wants us to look to Him first and rely on Him for our happiness.

Get your heart purged from being use to being abused from unhappiness. You will always find yourself unhappy if you DON'T heal from the abuse you're no longer in. I was abusing myself because of my horrible past relationships and messed up the relationship that came afterwards. Pull on and lean on God he will help you through it.

Prayer for me and you: God, my happiness should only rely on You, not other people and situations. Today, I get rid of my unrealistic expectations and take responsibility for my own happiness.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month

As we celebrate DOMESTIC VIOLENCE awareness month. Please remember the lives that were taken by this violent crime. This ruins lots of families especially the children and teens that are involved. Children loves their parents they don't see what adults see when it comes to abuse. We must cover the children and teens at all cost and teach them that love don't hurt.

We (survivors) must break the cycle that we have seen repeated and learned in our homes in order for our children to model positive behavior with other peers and adults. Children and teens seeks for approval and they want acceptance.

We (adults) must start with us and take a look at our past choices. You can and deserve healthy relationships. Sound the Alarm to domestic violence. Share your story of survival. I have made up my mind that I shall LIVE AGAIN and you can too!

Be ready for the battle

Greetings beautiful people!

Life is filled with challenges and disappointments but what are we going to do when it comes knocking at our door? Will we give up? Just throw in the towel. Or will we get ready for the battle.  For the word of God does tells us in 2 Chronicles 20:15

And he said, Hearken you, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat, Thus says the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

But also John 10:10

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

So if we know that things are coming to war against you then put on the whole armor of God and be ready to fight for your life to stay alive because the life you live is not your own. We are equipped to be life for the world around us. Bringing hope to a hopeless nation. The only way to be ready is to allow God to use those opposition you're facing for your good.

IT is not to destroy your hopes and dreams. You have a will to live or you have a will to die. That statement is spiritual or natural decision. I challenge you to be ready for the battles that comes into your life because they are coming. Surround yourself with positive people. Motivational books that will inspire you anything that will starve your fears and erase those doubts.  You will have the VICTORY as YOU redirect your attention of it being ALL about you. Let your light shine so that ALL will see that God is GOOD!  Join our blog site and share #LIVEAGAIN

Don't be confused

Greetings beautiful people! Don't be confused by what others might say about you while you're experiencing your storms in life. Everyone will have storms in their lives. We might be the cause of some storms and some may be getting stretched into another level in our lives. But whatever reason it may be YOU can make it.

It looks like you have lost your best friend but you are learning to trust who your real and dear friend really are. For me it's God wIth a few friends no doubt. God is my first LOVE because he sticks closer then anyone else.

In the book of Proverbs 24:16 NKJV

For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.

Do not put anyone down while they are going through. You couldn't walk a mile in my shoes and I can't walk in yours. Let's be more sensitive to one another and if you cannot spread love then don't get in anyone's way. Just step aside and allow the right people to be a greater blessing to that individual in need of TLC.

Trust me as you keep living you will need someone to encourage you, motivate you and love YOU through your storms so be careful. Watch who you're stepping on that person won't be down too long. Their setbacks are just temporary I call it underconstruction.

Think about it! DON'T be confused!  #LIVEAGAIN
