Expect the Unexpected

What things have you found yourself clinging to that need to be released to God? It's natural to be a little hesitant to let go and allow God to make the crucial choices in our lives. We sometimes feel isolated and helpless when we are not actively involved in manipulating the details that make up the big picture of our desires.

Somehow we find ourselves becoming distrustful of God and his agenda for our lives. We tend to feel that what God has in mind for us is kind of like oatmeal—good for us, but not exactly what we consider a fun dish. "If I allow Him to choose my mate, my career, my purpose in life, who knows what I'll get? Or where I'll end up? We think in panic. And then God presents us with gifts that cause us to be ashamed we ever thought such things when we unwrap gifts our eyes have never seen, our ears never heard, and our hearts never imagined.

He surprises us with joy every time, and in these moments we rejoice at our lack of control. We reveal in the opportunity to showcase yet another trophy of God's incredible ability to bless us above and beyond our finite human comprehension of what it takes to bring us overwhelming fulfillment.

I challenge you on today, rather than whining that we don't have certain things in our lives or that something is wrong, we need to take a positive action. Here are four steps toward turning whining into thanksgiving.

  1. Give something away. When you give something you create both a physical and a mental space for something new and better to come into your life. Although you may think you are "lacking" something in life, when you give you demonstrate you have abundance to spare.
  2. Narrow your goals. Don't expect everything good to come into your life all at once. When you focus your expectations toward specific and reachable goals, you are more apt to direct your time and energy toward reaching them.
  3. Change your vocabulary from "I need" to "I want." Most of the things we think that we need are actually things we want. When you receive them, you are more likely to be thankful for them as luxuries rather than necessities.
  4. Choose to be thankful for what you already have. Thanksgiving is a choice we make. Every one of us has more things to be thankful for than we could begin to recount in a day.

Hebrews 3:13 says But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today."

You cannot do a kindness too soon, because you never know how soon it will be too late!

My testimony:
I want to share with you all that my brother is doing a whole lot better. Don't stop praying for him and my family. God is definitely working it out.

Don't stop praying!!!!

Be Bless,

Remorseful Times

(Embedded image moved to file: pic03123.jpg)

Greetings everyone,

I say welcome to my new supporters. This excites me to see this outreach
ministry grow in leaps and bounds. I welcome all prayer request, testimony
and/or comments in general. Feel free to express yourself because we are
all in this together. If you don't feel that you want to go public with
your comments or request you can always email me on my personal email
soundthealarmoutreach@gmail.com. Take note that you can always leave any
comments and/or questions anonymous on the comment post. We all are
battling in different ways so we want to be safe at all times. I pray for
my viewers and want to protect them at the same time. It is never easy but
you can overcome and we are here to assist in any way to help you make
healthy decisions.

Let me say that God is good all the time and all the time God is good. I am
asking for you all to pray for my brother (George) when you go into your
quiet place. Pray for my family as well that we will find the strength and
courage to endure through these trying times together.

The Word for the day…..

What are some of the past failings in your life that you have found
difficult to get over? These failings can speak with cruel voices that
accuse and demoralize us. They tell us that we are no longer worthy of
God's love and attention. That we've messed up big time. That there is no
redemption of our circumstance. Our self-worth plummets, and we begin to
agree with our accuser that there is nothing good in us nothing worth
salvaging. And then Jesus comes with a new commission for our lives,
heaping blessings on top of our incredulity that He still loves us in spite
of our foolishness. He extends His grace to us for a new beginning and a
better tomorrow, and we're made a little stronger and a whole lot wiser.
Thank God for His mercy, for He knows we are but dust. Thank God that He is
the God of many chances as we need to get it right!

A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he
who plants kindness gathers love.

Why not ask the Lord to give you creative ideas which will brighten
someone's life today. Perhaps a brief telephone call or post card will
remind them how important they really are to you and to God, Their Heavenly
Father.

Galatians 6:7,9 says, Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap….And
let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we
faint not.

It's time to Sound the Alarm!

My Direction

Greetings everyone,

This site was created for a number of reasons. One would be to raise awareness and encourage anyone who has or is facing domestic violence of any kind. You have to know that there are alternatives to getting out of that situation and you can LIVE again. I am a SURVIVOR. So who would be a better person that could relate to this topic and tell how she overcame the signs of depression, unforgiveness, suicidal thoughts, hatred just to name a few. I have gone through the fire and I am not burned. I had to learn how to get back up with the confidence that I have lived to tell someone that they can LIVE on also. I am guiding you through necessary resources that benefited me into my happiness that I now can say that I have but note that it wasn't easy to get to this state of mind and it won't be that easy for you to get to where you want to be over night but at least you are now taking the steps to not let it keep you down and bound again. I want to see this site being nationally known to all types of people who don't mind sounding the alarm and breaking the silence. I know that I can't change the world but you can make a decision on today to change the way you do things for you and that is to LIVE because you are ALIVE for a purpose and plan that only God your creator knows.

My other reason for making this wonderful site is because we all need to be uplifted and what other way to be uplifted is by the Word of God. I share scriptures in my blog site so you will have something to stand on to fight against the devil. You need the power to fight against the thoughts that you can't make it or you will never get through this trouble. Just know that trouble don't last always. Psalms 138:8 says the Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. See words like that brings you life to be able to conquer the world. That is why I am here to bring you life and pray that you all will  take this journey with me and SOUND THE ALARM.

I am starting a prayer request blog and would like to know who you would want me to pray for. We will touch and agree about that situation. It could be about you or someone else. I am on my knees and I am praying because when you pray God will do something that you will never ever experience before and that is miracles for  you. Your faith will be built up and you will be strong to know that you have what you say. I would like testimony shared on here so people will know that we serve a awesome God if he did it for you he can do that for me. Make your suggestion on what you would like to see on the blog and I will see what I can do just as long it is in agreement to what God is leading me to do. I know that I am going places and I will be doing big things so I will keep you informed of my speaking engagements so you all can come and support me live and in living color if you are in the local area where I will be speaking. God is going to get the glory and he will share his glory with no one. So you all link your friends and family to this site and watch what God will do. I am excited in the things of God if you haven't noticed yet!...lol. Come and go with me let's live on top of the world!

Don't forget to share that SMILE on today!

Reproving Times

Sorrow looks back.
Worry looks around.
Faith looks up.

Hebrews 12:2 says fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

My obligation today is to do the right thing. The rest is in God's hands.

1 John 2:29 says If you know that he is righteous, you may be usre that everyone who does right is born of him.

What would be your obligation? I would like to know. What hard thing has God asked of you? Working in the Lord's service calls for a life that holds nothing back for itself. The things God asks of us can be unnerving if we have not yet purposed to be completely sold out to Him. In a world where so many carefully construct impenetrable facades, He demands from us a willingness to be open, vulnerable, and transparent. He calls us to return back to our original state of being naked and unashamed. He longs to be our only covering. The tidy lives that we constructd to win the approval of man are nothing more than poorly made papier-mache masks, shattered completely at th first blow of a crisis. But the faithfulness of God is always secure, covering us in righteousness, shutting out the coldness of uncertainty about the future. In Him our today, tomorrow, and eternity are securely wrapped.

Sow this seed into someone else's life and link them to the new inpsiration blog so they can reap a harvest as well. God Bless You All!

Be good to yourself and to others......don't forget to SMILE!
