Happy Holidays,

 

As we come to the end of the year we can really look back over our lives and say thank you Lord for another year. For some of us it has really been hard with many struggles and just didn’t think that you would make it to see another day let alone another year. Some of us have lost loved ones, jobs, homes, marriages, children, and health. Some of us have been abused verbally, physically, emotionally and numerous of other things that is too depressing to name.

I do not want to leave out of this year being sad and depressed any longer. I did not like the way things have been going in my life but I have been fighting now a good fight with faith. I am applying myself to change the way I think about things and people. So I just want to encourage you that trouble doesn’t last always. The struggle is over. Yes you go right ahead and cry but dry your eyes when you are done.

 

I do not know what each of you going through but you have made it. I am glad to know that you are a blessing to have in my life if you are a family member, a personal friend or an email buddy. You all have made me be the person that I am standing to be this day through the good, bad and the ugly times that has hit my life this pass year. Everyone has played a part if they really know it or not so you must understand that we all need one another. Time out for letting the negativity take over in our lives and transform yours words into good that will spring forth life into yourself and into others.

It’s your time to live and begin again in a new direction and on another level. I know that sometimes it is hard to accept change but change is good. When you think that you have lost something it is actually a greater gain. Don’t put limits on God with what you think your life should be. God knows the purpose and the plans that he has for each and everyone of us it is for good and not for evil. Get up and know that no one can take your joy away from you because this joy you have God gave it to you. So do not dwell on the bad things that have happened to you. Take back all that was stolen from you and tell the Lord thank you. If it had not been for the Lord who was on my side where would I be?
