CLEANING HOUSE 2010

CLEANING HOUSE 2010

Last Week I threw out worrying, it was getting old and in the way.

It kept me from being me; I couldn't do things God's way.

I threw out a book on MY PAST
(Didn't have time to read it anyway).

Replaced it with NEW GOALS, started reading it today.

I threw out hate and bad memories,
(Remember how I treasured them so)?

Got me a NEW PHILOSOPHY too, threw out the one from long ago.

Brought in some new books too, called I CAN, I WILL, and I MUST.

Threw out I might, I think and I ought.
WOW, you should've seen the dust.

I ran across an OLD FRIEND, I hadn't talked to in a while.

His name is GOD the Father, and I really like His style.

He helped me to do some cleaning and added some things Himself.

Like PRAYER, HOPE, FAITH and LOVE,
Yes... I placed them right on the shelf.

I picked up this special thing and placed it at the front door.

I FOUND IT- it's called PEACE.. Nothing gets me down anymore.

Yes, I've got my house looking nice.

Looks good around the place.

For things like Worry and Trouble there just isn't any space.

It's good to do a little house cleaning,
Get rid of the things on the shelf.

It sure makes things brighter; maybe you should TRY IT YOURSELF.
BE BLESSED AND BE A BLESSING TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!!
May the Lord open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that
You will not have room enough to receive it all.

May the Lord bless you exceedingly abundantly above all you could ever
Hope for.

BE BLESS,

Battlefield

The Mind is the Batterfield
(Embedded image moved to file: pic00189.jpg)

Ephesians 6:12 says for we wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only
with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers,
against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present
darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly
(supernatural) sphere.

From the scriptures we see that we are in a war. A careful study of this
verse informs us that our warfare is not with other human beings but with
the devil and his demons. Our enemy, Satan, attempts to defeat us with
strategy and deceit, through well-laid plans and deliberate deception.

The devil is a liar. Jesus called him…..the father of lies and of all
that is false (John 8:44.) He lies to you and me. He tells us things about
ourselves, about other people and about circumstances that are just not
true. He does not, however, tell us the entire lie all at one time.

He begins by bombarding our mind with a cleverly devised pattern of
little nagging thoughts, suspicions, doubts fears, wondering, reasoning,
and theories. He moves slowly and cautiously (after all, well-laid plans
take time). Remember, he has a strategy for his warfare. He has studied us
for a long time.

He knows what we like and what we don't like. He knows our insecurities,
our weaknesses and our fears. He knows what bothers us most. He is willing
to invest any amount of time it takes to defeat us. One of the devil's
strong points is patience.

TEARING DOWN STRONGHOLDS
2Corinthians 10:4:5 says for the weapons of our warfare are not physical
[weapons of flesh and blood]' but they are mighty before God for the
overthrow and destruction of strongholds.

[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasoning's and every
proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of
God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience
of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

The Way Out
For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin, no matter how it
comes or where it leads) has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not
common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is
beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging
to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His
Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let
you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of
resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always]
also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you
may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.
1Corinthians 10:13

My testimony:
Hello everyone each and every time I write something on this website is
only because that is something that I am going through personally. I don't
intend on judging you on your lifestyle at any cost. I am only here to give
us another avenue to express ourselves and to be encouraged through
whatever crisis we might face on a day to day basis. No one is perfect and
no one is trying to be perfect we are a people who are dealing with
different things and coming out in different ways. What might work for me
might not work for you but there is one thing that I do know without God we
are nothing. I stand on faith and I work very hard to keep myself from
being beat up and beat down by past. Each and everyday is a battle to let
the enemy know that I have the victory through Christ Jesus. You all may
have your own faith this is not to get no one to change there belief system
but I do know that we all believe in something. So whatever may be your way
to get encourage share it with me and show me another way I am open to
other points of views. Just remember we all are in this together. Help me
to spread the word and save a life. NO one should be abused in any shape or
form of abuse. Don't keep this website to yourself let someone else know
that Sound the Alarm Outreach is here 4U!

Don't forget to SMILE on today…:-)

Expect the Unexpected

What things have you found yourself clinging to that need to be released to God? It's natural to be a little hesitant to let go and allow God to make the crucial choices in our lives. We sometimes feel isolated and helpless when we are not actively involved in manipulating the details that make up the big picture of our desires.

Somehow we find ourselves becoming distrustful of God and his agenda for our lives. We tend to feel that what God has in mind for us is kind of like oatmeal—good for us, but not exactly what we consider a fun dish. "If I allow Him to choose my mate, my career, my purpose in life, who knows what I'll get? Or where I'll end up? We think in panic. And then God presents us with gifts that cause us to be ashamed we ever thought such things when we unwrap gifts our eyes have never seen, our ears never heard, and our hearts never imagined.

He surprises us with joy every time, and in these moments we rejoice at our lack of control. We reveal in the opportunity to showcase yet another trophy of God's incredible ability to bless us above and beyond our finite human comprehension of what it takes to bring us overwhelming fulfillment.

I challenge you on today, rather than whining that we don't have certain things in our lives or that something is wrong, we need to take a positive action. Here are four steps toward turning whining into thanksgiving.

  1. Give something away. When you give something you create both a physical and a mental space for something new and better to come into your life. Although you may think you are "lacking" something in life, when you give you demonstrate you have abundance to spare.
  2. Narrow your goals. Don't expect everything good to come into your life all at once. When you focus your expectations toward specific and reachable goals, you are more apt to direct your time and energy toward reaching them.
  3. Change your vocabulary from "I need" to "I want." Most of the things we think that we need are actually things we want. When you receive them, you are more likely to be thankful for them as luxuries rather than necessities.
  4. Choose to be thankful for what you already have. Thanksgiving is a choice we make. Every one of us has more things to be thankful for than we could begin to recount in a day.

Hebrews 3:13 says But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today."

You cannot do a kindness too soon, because you never know how soon it will be too late!

My testimony:
I want to share with you all that my brother is doing a whole lot better. Don't stop praying for him and my family. God is definitely working it out.

Don't stop praying!!!!

Be Bless,

Remorseful Times

(Embedded image moved to file: pic03123.jpg)

Greetings everyone,

I say welcome to my new supporters. This excites me to see this outreach
ministry grow in leaps and bounds. I welcome all prayer request, testimony
and/or comments in general. Feel free to express yourself because we are
all in this together. If you don't feel that you want to go public with
your comments or request you can always email me on my personal email
soundthealarmoutreach@gmail.com. Take note that you can always leave any
comments and/or questions anonymous on the comment post. We all are
battling in different ways so we want to be safe at all times. I pray for
my viewers and want to protect them at the same time. It is never easy but
you can overcome and we are here to assist in any way to help you make
healthy decisions.

Let me say that God is good all the time and all the time God is good. I am
asking for you all to pray for my brother (George) when you go into your
quiet place. Pray for my family as well that we will find the strength and
courage to endure through these trying times together.

The Word for the day…..

What are some of the past failings in your life that you have found
difficult to get over? These failings can speak with cruel voices that
accuse and demoralize us. They tell us that we are no longer worthy of
God's love and attention. That we've messed up big time. That there is no
redemption of our circumstance. Our self-worth plummets, and we begin to
agree with our accuser that there is nothing good in us nothing worth
salvaging. And then Jesus comes with a new commission for our lives,
heaping blessings on top of our incredulity that He still loves us in spite
of our foolishness. He extends His grace to us for a new beginning and a
better tomorrow, and we're made a little stronger and a whole lot wiser.
Thank God for His mercy, for He knows we are but dust. Thank God that He is
the God of many chances as we need to get it right!

A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he
who plants kindness gathers love.

Why not ask the Lord to give you creative ideas which will brighten
someone's life today. Perhaps a brief telephone call or post card will
remind them how important they really are to you and to God, Their Heavenly
Father.

Galatians 6:7,9 says, Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap….And
let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we
faint not.

My Direction

Greetings everyone,

This site was created for a number of reasons. One would be to raise awareness and encourage anyone who has or is facing domestic violence of any kind. You have to know that there are alternatives to getting out of that situation and you can LIVE again. I am a SURVIVOR. So who would be a better person that could relate to this topic and tell how she overcame the signs of depression, unforgiveness, suicidal thoughts, hatred just to name a few. I have gone through the fire and I am not burned. I had to learn how to get back up with the confidence that I have lived to tell someone that they can LIVE on also. I am guiding you through necessary resources that benefited me into my happiness that I now can say that I have but note that it wasn't easy to get to this state of mind and it won't be that easy for you to get to where you want to be over night but at least you are now taking the steps to not let it keep you down and bound again. I want to see this site being nationally known to all types of people who don't mind sounding the alarm and breaking the silence. I know that I can't change the world but you can make a decision on today to change the way you do things for you and that is to LIVE because you are ALIVE for a purpose and plan that only God your creator knows.

My other reason for making this wonderful site is because we all need to be uplifted and what other way to be uplifted is by the Word of God. I share scriptures in my blog site so you will have something to stand on to fight against the devil. You need the power to fight against the thoughts that you can't make it or you will never get through this trouble. Just know that trouble don't last always. Psalms 138:8 says the Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. See words like that brings you life to be able to conquer the world. That is why I am here to bring you life and pray that you all will  take this journey with me and SOUND THE ALARM.

I am starting a prayer request blog and would like to know who you would want me to pray for. We will touch and agree about that situation. It could be about you or someone else. I am on my knees and I am praying because when you pray God will do something that you will never ever experience before and that is miracles for  you. Your faith will be built up and you will be strong to know that you have what you say. I would like testimony shared on here so people will know that we serve a awesome God if he did it for you he can do that for me. Make your suggestion on what you would like to see on the blog and I will see what I can do just as long it is in agreement to what God is leading me to do. I know that I am going places and I will be doing big things so I will keep you informed of my speaking engagements so you all can come and support me live and in living color if you are in the local area where I will be speaking. God is going to get the glory and he will share his glory with no one. So you all link your friends and family to this site and watch what God will do. I am excited in the things of God if you haven't noticed yet!...lol. Come and go with me let's live on top of the world!

Don't forget to share that SMILE on today!

Reproving Times

Sorrow looks back.
Worry looks around.
Faith looks up.

Hebrews 12:2 says fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

My obligation today is to do the right thing. The rest is in God's hands.

1 John 2:29 says If you know that he is righteous, you may be usre that everyone who does right is born of him.

What would be your obligation? I would like to know. What hard thing has God asked of you? Working in the Lord's service calls for a life that holds nothing back for itself. The things God asks of us can be unnerving if we have not yet purposed to be completely sold out to Him. In a world where so many carefully construct impenetrable facades, He demands from us a willingness to be open, vulnerable, and transparent. He calls us to return back to our original state of being naked and unashamed. He longs to be our only covering. The tidy lives that we constructd to win the approval of man are nothing more than poorly made papier-mache masks, shattered completely at th first blow of a crisis. But the faithfulness of God is always secure, covering us in righteousness, shutting out the coldness of uncertainty about the future. In Him our today, tomorrow, and eternity are securely wrapped.

Sow this seed into someone else's life and link them to the new inpsiration blog so they can reap a harvest as well. God Bless You All!

Be good to yourself and to others......don't forget to SMILE!

He will deliver

Psalms 72:12-14

For He will deliver the needy when he cries,
The poor also, and him who has no helper.
He will spare the poor and needy.
He will redeem their life from oppression and violence;
And precious shall be their blood in His sight.

Challenging Times: Seek Him

Challenging Times: Seek Him

Seek Him

Greetings everyone,

Why pray? We pray because prayer opens up the floodgates of God's infinite grace and power to flow toward the person in need. God can act without prayer, but He chooses to operate within the boundaries of human will and invitation. He allows us to participate in His work on earth with each prayer. When we face a tough situation, our first response should be to ask for God's help. He longs to be our helper and to be fully involved in our lives.

Give your troubles to God: He will be up all night anyway.

God Help those who Seek Him
Psalm 121
I will lift up my eyes to the hills---
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Lonely Times

Do you ever battle with self-doubt? One of the most powerful scriptures in the Bible is, "We love Him because He first loved us." How much energy do we put into striving for the attention, affection, approval, and love of others? We have a tendency to think that if someone would give us a stamp validating us as desirable, we would finally be whole. But the truth is that no one can make us whole if we are not already fulfilled within ourselves. The only one capable of giving us the fulfillment we desire is God Himself. Nobody else is capable of filling all the empty spaces in our spirit. We have fashioned in such a way that no external element is able to do what the Holy Spirit specializes in doing within. When we release others from doing what our heart demands, God will come in to meet our expectation with gifts more fulfilling than we ever dreamed.

I want to hear from you please feel free to post comments and ask questions. Share your story and testimony or even prayer request. We're all in this together. Let's lift up the name of Jesus and let him be glorified through all of our trials, test and tribulations. They all come to make us stronger in Him.

Hold on to your SMILE!

Overcoming

Greetings everyone,

Welcome to my first blog site for the year 2010. I am starting out with challenging times. We have come into a new year to only challenge ourselves with change. Can we change the things from last year so that things will be better this year? How can we see ourselves on that next level of promise?

Well I feel the secret lies within you. What must you do to change the inner man so that the outer man can blossom? Push yourself to your destiny like it is the last thing that you can do. Live life to its fullest potential. We all have that drive but we must take the stand to push passed disappointments and discouragements that will come to each and everyone of us. We have what we say. If we always say and dwell on negativity then negativity will grow right before us. So why not challenge ourself with yes I can. Yes I can be promoted this year inpsite of the budget cuts. Yes I can graduate with my degree this year. Yes I can be a happier person. Yes I can start my new business this year. Yes I can get out of this abusive relationship. Yes I can be a better parent then I was last year. What is your "Yes"? You can be what every you put your mind to be.

Because you are I am all that I hope for all that I dream of even that which I am afraid to see for all that I am is hidden in You revealed in Your light and manifested in my surrender to You. You are I Am.......

In Him our identity is made secure. The search ends before His throne.

Who am I? Many of us, ask, In search of our identity it is important to know that it really doesn't matter who we are as long as He is. If no one else gets it, that's all right because it doesn't change God's design. So let them murmur and know when to let go of the stragglers, releasing yourself back into the arms of the One who know you best.

Be blessed on today and don't forget to put on that SMILE someone is always watching!
